MEET THE BIG RED BIOSECURITY TEAM

The Big Red Biosecurity program was developed by Dr. Don Reynolds. Now retired, Dr. Reynolds was a poultry veterinarian and professor in the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He was nationally and internationally known for his work in poultry diseases.

Dr. Reynolds recognized that the poultry industry is growing rapidly in Nebraska and wanted to help producers have the greatest opportunity for success by protecting their flock from disease, and their investment from the associated economic losses. He created the Big Red Biosecurity website to provide information that producers with flocks of any size can implement.
